The San Francisco Dons look to stay perfect at home this season when they host the San Diego Toreros in West Coast Conference action.
San Diego enter tonight's game having lost their first two games in league play. They were beaten 76-68 by Loyola Marymount and 88-79 by Pepperdine at home last week. The Toreros have dropped eight of their last nine and their average losing margin in those games is almost 12 points. San Diego have struggled mightily to cope with the loss of key players to graduation and injury and are yet to win on the road this season going 0-10 SU and just 2-5 ATS.
San Francisco have lost a season-high three straight road games to be 10-9 overall. Prior to those losses they were tied with Gonzaga for the most wins (10) in the WCC. All three of those games were WCC contests so they will be desperate to get back on track with a win at home tonight. They are undefeated at the War Memorial Gymnasium this season with a perfect 7-0 record and an average winning margin of 11 ppg. At home versus away they are scoring 13 more points while yielding 12 less, shooting at a 5% higher clip and have a +4 instead of -4 turnover differential.
San Diego have dominated recent meetings between these teams but with many new players in tonight's line-up's we don't place much importance in that fact.
A bad road team versus a solid motivated home team...lay the points with the Dons and expect a 15 point win
Recommended Play: San Francisco -11
Good luck
